Tumble program!

The Tumble program helps build skills by focusing on Foundation - Flexibility - Power and Explosion though Drill and Skill work. We are so excited for you to stop by and check out our Tumble Program. *Showcase Week will be held twice a year during regular class time in January and July. These Showcases provide students with the opportunity to show off their skills learned in class.

Trampoline with Tumble

Trampoline helps develop strength building, air awareness and body control all through trampoline. This class combines trampoline with Tumble skills.

Tumble Jr

Tumble Jr is designed for younger beginner tumblers and novice tumblers who are beginning to work back handsprings.

Tumble 1

Tumble 1 is our Foundational class level. Sonshine's Tumble program is designed and built on skill-based levels. If your athlete is new to tumbling or needs to focus on the basics, Tumble 1 is the perfect class. Tumble 1 will be focusing on the following skills: Forward and Backward Rolls, Handstand Progressions, Cartwheel and Basic Limber Skills (Bridge, Handstand Bridge, Backbend, Bridge Kickover).

Tumble 2

Tumble 2 is our Flexibility level. Tumble 1 set the foundation to work Flexibility and Strength needed to work on Tumble 2 skills. If your athlete has acquired the Foundational skills, needs to work on Flexibility and is not quite ready for Flipping skills, Tumble 2 is the class for them. Tumble 2 will be focusing on the following skills: Round- Off Progression (Cartwheel Step-In, Round-Off, Power Hurdle to Round-Off), Front Limber, Back Limber, Front and Back Handspring Progression.

Tumble 3

Tumble 3 is our Power and Explosion level. This level builds off of Tumble 1 and 2. The foundation that was set in Tumble 1 combined with the Flexibility learned in Tumble 2 helps create the perfect path to Tumble 3. In this level, your athlete will learn the basics to flipping skills through drills and progressions needed to move to Tumble 4. Tumble 3 will be focusing on the following skills: Aerial Progression, Back Handspring Progression (Standing Back Handspring, Round-Off Back Handspring), Front Tuck and Back Tuck. The goal of Tumble 3 is to give your athlete the best skill progression to be prepared for Tumble 4 skills.

Tumble 4

Tumble 4 focuses on the following skills: Combination Tumble Passes, Standing Twisting, and Multiple Twisting skills. Sonshine’s Tumble 4 is designed for all disciplines and sports. Our staff has a wealth of knowledge in Gymnastics, Cheer, Jump Roping, Power Tumbling, and Dance.
