John Thorpe

John, originally from Washington, DC, has been at Sonshine since 2010. Gymnastics has always been a big part of John’s life – he grew up in his family-owned gym. He has coached everything from preschool to USAG Optionals Level 10. Fun facts you may not know about John: he is afraid of snakes (c’mon, they have no legs!), the polar bear is his favorite animal, and he loves to coach! John lives with his beautiful wife and three big fur babies, his dogs Charlie, Chance and Max.
